In 2010, Gaston brought his passion for the hair industry to Miami Beach with the opening of his third salon: Safar Miami.
More than four decades later, the name Safar is synonymous with beauty, style, and elegance. Before turning 20 years old, he moved to Boston and shortly thereafter opened his first salon: Safar Coiffure with his brothers Serge and Jean-Pierre. Gaston’s journey began in the south of France, where he worked as a young hairdresser in his parent’s salon in Marseilles. Serving gourmet cappuccinos, maintaining a lush outdoor terrace, and providing an in house wedding coordinator are a few examples of our commitment to exceeding our client’s expectations. Salon Àcôté was founded in 1998 by Gaston Safar, with a vision to offer the best in hair care services by an internationally trained team of expert stylists in a beautiful and inviting atmosphere.
